Puppy

If you bring home your pup at a very young age, you will be given the chance to train him on your own terms so that he could adjust to your life-style and environment. Admit it or not, you are just so fond of watching your puppy every time he gets so curious with his tail and so he would chase it or during the times where you play catching ball or Frisbee with him. These are the moments when you tend to have those memorable happenings. If the old saying, “You can’t teach an old dog a new trick” is something that you truly believe in, then you definitely want to start with a puppy and raise him the way you want him to grow.

As dogs mature, they take on more of the natural traits of their breed. Those fierce looking and daunting watchdogs were also able to melt the hearts of their owners with their charming looks during the times when they were still just puppies. Once grown, that same dog can stare a hole through an intruder instantly be prepared to rip his hearts out to protect his territory (and his keepers).

As temperate as they may seem, those show dogs would surely require you of an severe and repetitive schooling to fully harness their skills. If you want to strictly enforce commands to your show dog, indulging your dog from time to time during your educating or not imposing strict commands can just catch him in the center. Taking those roles by heart is something that those kinds of dogs do when they are given such roles.

There are types of dogs that no matter how old they are, they just seem to be small in appearance, thus, if you want to have a pet that would still have those pup traits or looks like a pup even if for a long time, then you might as well go for that kind of dogs. A frequent touch and clinging on to its owners are just some of the things that a range of dog breeds are fond of doing and are satisfied about. Such dog breeds go well with those idle keepers who would choose to spend their day watching Television and that is something that these dogs won’t bother. But the truth of the matter is, those dogs are less likely to be tolerant with inactivity when they are still in the puppy phase but as soon as they get mature enough, patience is just their virtue and somehow, inertia is also something that they relish provided that they are being nestled gently. The nature of being a puppy is like that of being a young child - it is just the point in their life that where they tend to commit a lot of mistakes but truly learns from it, exploration is just their thing since their curiosity bugs them off and running around with all their enthusiasm can’t really be avoided.

Each and every new thing that they tend to get may it be in the forms of their toys or new things they tend to see which can actually intensify their wonder such as other animals wandering around or butterflies and birds in the air gets them so excited - that recalling your commands is something that they would have a trouble dealing with. Roaming around and even going out to explore the places that they have never been before such as outside your home up to the areas where you can no longer protect them are just the usual things that they can’t avoid doing.

Living with a pup beside you can have both the thrills and exhaustion. Like any creatures in this world, a puppy would dearly want your love and care, so deal with him with due respect and all the gentleness that you can give while you are in the mode of trying to discipline him. As been said before, even if such dogs come from one breed, you can’t ask a puppy to be just exactly the same as another puppy.

Each puppy has its own personality and abilities, so he’ll progress with schooling at his pace, not the same pace as his siblings or the dog you owned previously. Either way, dogs can turn into adults who just seem to get on your nerves with its annoying behaviors but were once as pleasing and as fascinating as babies, just like the way humans are. So having a dog means dedicating all your love for him just the way you do with your other loved ones all throughout your life.
